School Supply Distribution

 When: A few days before book day. 

Where: St Louis School

 What: Each grade levels supplies need to be sorted through to make sure all supplies are correct.  Some grade levels need extra added to bags.  Get items from table and put in bags for each student.  Place completed bags in front of their grade level doors.  Usually takes a few hours to complete. 


Back to School Day (Book Day)

 Where: St Louis School Cafeteria 

 What:  Hand out folders at the front table when parents walk in.  This folder has the paperwork each family needs to complete the book day process.  Sit at the following tables and fill out order forms when parents approach to purchase items: bibles, math sheets, volunteers, uniforms, check out.


Boo Hoo and Hankies

 When:  First day of School

 Where: St Louis School

 What:  Set up breakfast items. Serve breakfast items to the incoming pre-K 3, pre-K 4, and Kindergarten parents.  Clean up after.


Back to School Party

 When: September

 Where: St Louis School gym and parking lot

 What: Stand by inflatable to make sure things go well.  Help with the event clean up.  


Fall Fundraiser

 When: September 

 Where: St Louis School

 What: Count money at the end of the fundraiser.  Assist with day of fun for the students that reach at the goal.  Help distribute chocolate to the students. 


Grandparents Day

When: September 

 Where: St Louis School

 What:  On the Thursday before (Sep 9th) help set up.  Finish with set up Friday morning after morning drop off.  Serve lunch to grandparents.  Fill food as needed on tables.  Help photographers with writing grandparents emails and names down.  Take down when done.  Stand by upstairs and downstairs to assist grandparents. 


Fall Festival  

 When: October

 Where: St Louis School 

 What: Meeting to plan event,TBA.  Set up during the day of festival. Get tickets ready for pre-orders. Hand out tickets the day of the festival.  Take down after festival. WILL ASK FOR VOLUNTEERS TO WORK SHIFTS AT DIFFERENT BOOTHS IN SEPTEMBER.


Dad's N Doughnuts

 When:  November 

 Where: St Louis Cafeteria

 What: Set up after school on Tuesday and early on day of.  Assist photographers in obtaining emails and names from dads.  Replenish food and drink. Take down afterwards. Keep doughnuts and drinks readily available.  


North Pole Express

 When: December 

 Where: St Louis Library

 What: Price items for sale on Monday, November 30th.  Set up Friday, December 4th. Restock items as needed at the end of each day.  Take down and do inventory Friday, December 11th. WILL ASK FOR VOLUNTEERS TO WORK SHIFTS AND BRING TREATS AT THE END OF NOVEMBER


Mom's N Muffins

 When: March or April

 Where: St Louis Cafeteria

 What: Set up after school the Wed. before.  Arrive early the day of to help get food items out.  Replenish muffins and drinks.  Take down after been rings. 


Spring Fundraiser

 When: TBA

 Where: St Louis School

 What: Set up in the morning.  Take down after event. Count money after event is over.


Field Day

 When:  May 

 Where: Reicher Football Field

 What: Set up morning of.  Take down that afternoon. Deliver shirts to classrooms a couple of days prior to FD. Assist chairperson in gathering supplies needed.


Sweet Shop

When: September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May 

 Where: St Louis School

 What: Set up in the morning.  Clean up after lunch.  Count money.  Selling the sweets to the students through the lunch hours. 


Social Chair- Coordinate the social events of the SLPA by ensuring these events are promoted through the school and other outlets.  Promote the SLPA!  


Dine To Donate- Contact restaurants that we can hold a fundraiser at to earn money for our school.  Print Flyers for the event and distribute them.  Send emails to Mrs. Dvorsky so she can email parents and post on the FaceBook page. Follow up with the restaurant with money made and check distribution.  


Volunteer Chair- Help put together small gifts every month for volunteers.  Distribute gifts to homeroom teachers. Keep up with who volunteers for each event and add their name to the bulletin board in the hallways by the cafe.


Box Tops- Gather BT labels from the mailbox.  Check for expired BT and sort them into groups of 50 per sandwich bag.  Glue each label to a point value sheet.  Keep track of the students that bring in the BT's and labels. Make thank you gifts for the students that participate.  Top 18 students of the year get a gift.  Help assemble the gifts.  Top class gets a party of some type.  Help with set up of the party.
